Get your book ready to publish with Pages
Pages is Apple’s free, powerful word processor that lets you write, design, and publish stunning books, whether you’re on a Mac, iPad, or iPhone, or using a PC.
Open Pages
If you have a PC, go to iCloud.com and log in with your Apple Account.
If you have a Mac, iPad, or iPhone, you can use the latest version of the Pages app on your device.
Start with a template
In the template chooser, scroll down to see a selection of Apple-designed book templates in portrait and landscape, and select one that best fits your book’s genre. The templates include layout, placeholder text, and even images to give you an idea of your book design, and you can customize it any way you like. Apple Creator Studio subscribers get access to additional templates for brochures, newsletters, and posters so you can start promoting your book once it’s published.

After you’ve picked a template, you can add your own text, photos, image galleries, videos, audio, shapes, tables, charts, and more. Just be sure to remove any placeholder text or graphics before publishing your book.
