Get your book ready to publish with Pages
Pages is Apple’s free, powerful word processor that lets you write, design, and publish stunning books, whether you’re on a Mac, iPad, or iPhone, or using a PC.
Open Pages
If you have a PC, go to iCloud.com and log in with your Apple Account.
If you have a Mac, iPad, or iPhone, you can use the latest version of the Pages app on your device.
Start with a template
In the template chooser, scroll down to see a selection of Apple-designed portrait and landscape book templates, and select one that best fits your book’s genre. The templates include layout, placeholder text, and even images to give you an idea what your book could look like. You can customize the design any way you like.

After you’ve picked a template, you can add your own text, photos, image galleries, videos, audio, shapes, tables, charts, and more. Just be sure to remove any placeholder text or graphics before publishing your book.
